What is GB Verified?
Gilbert Baker Verified is a commitment to protecting the Rainbow Flag’s right to fly. It distinguishes brands, organizations and individuals that engage with LGBTQ+ audiences—not just by displaying the flag, but by ensuring it remains free and accessible to everyone.
Why does it matter?
Gilbert Baker made the Rainbow Flag free for everyone to use—including brands. Because of that we have no funds to protect it. We need your help to keep the flag flying, ensuring it remains a symbol of visibility, pride, and unity. Without protection, the flag is at risk of being erased.
How Does it Work?
If you are a Brand/Organization
Once you donate, you become Verified—it’s that simple. You’ll receive the Gilbert Baker Verified Logo Toolkit, a mark of authenticity that signals real commitment to safeguarding the flag’s meaning. There are three ways to show the communty that you fight for the colors you use:
- Incorporate the Verified mark by adding the icon to your logo.
- Announce your verification on social media.
- Be featured on our website as a Verified partner.
If you are an Individual
The Rainbow Flag belongs to all of us. This is about fighting for the right of everyone, and we need everyone to get behind us.
Two ways to help:
- Put Pressure on the Brands You Support – If they use the Rainbow Flag, ask them: Do you support the community, or just profit from it? Call them out. Demand action.
- Spread the Word – Download and share our graphics to amplify the message. Post on social media, tag brands, and get the conversation going.
